At 93 cm tall, the BugDorm-4E4590 insect cage is tall enough for small potted plants. The BugDorm-4E4590 has very fine Nylon netting (150 x 150 mesh) all around, using no plastic sheet in any of the panels except the floor for better ventilation. A thin strip is sewn across the ceiling from which to suspend objects such as feeders.
The front panel of the BugDorm-4E4590 insect-rearing cage has three openings. The zippered opening is large enough to insert potted plants. Two 18-cm sleeve openings on the zippered opening permit the addition or removal of insects and the replacement of food without letting insects escape.
The framework of the BugDorm-4E4590 insect cage is made of lightweight fiberglass and constructed outside the enclosure. There are no places for insects to hide inside the cage.
